Description of Position
Provide a variety of human resources administrative support in the areas of recruitment, on-boarding and off-boarding, leaves management, preparing letters, data entry, filing, etc.
Description of Duties
Screen and provide potential candidates to hiring managers for the interview process, conduct reference checks, provide Employment Offers, etc.
Plan and participate in job fairs and recruitment activities.
Support the facilitation of onboarding process including; connecting with all new hires on documentation requirements, informing IT and other internal stakeholders, creating, provides new employees with building security access and keys
Support the administration of surveys for employees with the organization for three months; analyzes data and produces regular reports for management.
Support the off boarding process when employees leave the organization; facilitating the return of all organizational equipment and resources, and liaising with IT and security to terminate access.
Support in the scheduling of and administration of exit interviews for staff leaving the organization.
Assists with other administrative duties such as preparing letters, filing, data entry, keeping organizational chart up to date, etc.
Qualifications
University degree or college certificate in Human Resources or related field.
Completed or currently pursuing a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.
Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s License (Class G or G2) and access to a reliable vehicle and Insurance.
Proficient with PC computer environment; MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and other software.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, written).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with families as necessary.
