RESPONSIBILITIES

o Analyze Avid AXF exports and metadata requirements
o Configure and validate AXF Parser and Metadata Transformation Service
o Map source metadata to Mimir schema and validate transformed JSON
o Support ingestion testing and validation in Mimir and GCS
o Validate media object readiness and consistency across source systems Avid DIVA AWS S3
o Coordinate media transfer readiness check sums validations
o Conduct workflow testing in Mimir and verify migrated assets in GCS
o Prepare documentation and runbook for Media Operations
o Configure secure access to GCS buckets and migration pipelines
o Manage S3 to S3 transfer execution and monitoring
o Implement automation scripts for media migration logging and error handling
o Set up monitoring dashboards Cloud Monitoring Logging
o Ensure IAM roles APIs and bucket policies are applied correctly

SKILLS

  • AVID MAM (Avid Media Asset Management) experience is mandatory.
  • Strong practical experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Hands-on knowledge of AWS services, cloud deployment patterns, and cross-cloud integrations.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, data transformation, or workflow integration.
  • Demonstrated experience migrating workflows, preferably within media-related environments.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and clearly document cloud-based and media workflows.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with media workflows, broadcast systems, or video delivery platforms.
  • Working knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based storage, CDN solutions, streaming technologies, or metadata management.
