Job Overview: We’re looking for an Electrical Forman who will lead and oversee daily on-site electrical activities, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of power distribution systems, UPS, backup generators, switchgear, and grounding systems. You will manage resources, coordinate contractors, and mentor electricians and apprentices while ensuring all work complies with project drawings, specifications, codes, and IREN’s safety standards.
We have grown substantially since 2019, from our inception in Australia to now having several facilities across North America and being listed on NASDAQ… and we are just getting started! Job requirements

7–10 years of electrical construction experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or foreman role.

Experience with data centers, industrial facilities, or mission-critical infrastructure strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of medium and low voltage power systems, grounding, lighting, and backup systems.

Familiarity with commissioning processes for mission-critical electrical systems.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Journeyman Electrician (required).

Master Electrician (preferred).

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
-
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with digital reporting and construction management tools.

Safety-first mindset with commitment to compliance.

Organized and detail-oriented approach to electrical installation and supervision.

Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Adaptability to evolving project priorities and schedules.

Must be available to work the shift schedule: 2 weeks on, 1 week off.
Job responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily electrical construction activities on site.
-
Oversee installation of power distribution systems, UPS, backup generators, switchgear, and grounding systems.

Ensure all electrical work follows project drawings, technical specifications, and IREN’s standards.

Plan and allocate resources to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Supervise and mentor electricians and apprentices.
-
Coordinate contractors to align with project schedules and quality requirements.

Work closely with General Foreman, Project Managers, and Engineers to resolve issues.

Enforce electrical safety protocols and IREN’s safety Culture.
-
Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Perform inspections and testing of electrical systems to verify proper installation.
-
Support commissioning activities for mission-critical electrical equipment.

Identify and address deficiencies promptly to avoid delays and rework.

Maintain accurate daily logs of manpower, materials, and equipment.

Track progress of electrical work against project schedules.
-
Report status, challenges, and resource needs to the Project Manager.
Job benefits
This is a 2 weeks on 1 week off schedule. The company will cover travel for candidates who reside outside of Prince George.
Compensation & Rewards
- Competitive hourly rate (CAD $50.50/hr) along with a $150 LOA per day
