We have immediate openings at our Mount Pearl operation for Account Manager - Industrial Coatings and Lubricants (Atlantic Canada).

As our Account Manager - Industrial Coatings and Lubricants (Atlantic Canada), you will be responsible for growing our Industrial Coatings and Lubricants business in the Atlantic Canadian market through customer prospecting, market education, solution support regardless of the application or the environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintaining and strengthening relationships with established accounts in Oil & Gas, Marine, Industrial, Utility, Government and Transportation Sectors through regular customer contact to identify customer requirements and potential solutions;

  • Seeking out new business by establishing contact with prospects, scheduling sales calls, and following up on leads;

  • Providing/sourcing expert industry and product knowledge to key accounts, by identifying and recommending value-added solutions and services from our vendors and partners;

  • Preparing proposals, presentations, and financial analysis to support sales activities and enable successful closure of sales;

  • Conducting seminars, demonstrations, etc. to generate, develop, and qualify leads for prospective customers;

  • Maintaining customer and vendor relationships and identifying opportunities to develop and grow new business partnerships;

  • Monitoring market, competitor, and customer trends;

  • Consulting on external pricing strategies and maintaining internal pricing policies;

  • Developing territory plans to meet established gross margin targets and grow the company’s Industrial Coatings and Lubricants business;

  • Participating in trade shows, product demonstrations and other events to promote awareness of our products and services, increase sales, and enhance the company’s image; and

  • Supporting other team members including administrative, operational, and field staff, in the safe, efficient delivery of superior service to our clients.

  • Previous experience with using computerized ERP and CRM systems would also be an asset

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of knowledge and/or experience in a complimentary industrial/technical sales environment or coatings market.

  • Training and/or certifications through NACE augmented by completion of a technical diploma would be an asset.

  • Relevant experience in inside sales or sales support of product/service-based solutions.

  • Valid drivers license.

  • NOTE: All combinations of education in a related and experience will be considered.

This job requires in person interaction. Overtime may be necessary; therefore, flexibility in hours of work will be required.
