About the role

Faculty/Department Faculty of Arts Unit Arts-Justice Studies Employee Group URFA CUPE 5791 Job Family N/A Category Sessional Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary

This course focuses on the principles of administration, organizational behaviour, and leadership in human services agencies, including social and criminal justice agencies. Topics include financial and human resource management, implementation of programs toward fulfillment of objectives and decision-making. This course will also examine different models and styles of organizational structure and how they influence organizational behaviour. The successful candidate will require a broad knowledge and background in subject matter and preference will be given to applicants with past teaching experience in this field.

Position Requirements

The successful candidate must

  • hold a MA or PhD in field or equivalent discipline; PhD is preferred;
  • a record of effective teaching at the post-secondary level;
  • have experience managing classroom and online technologies used by the University of Regina (including UR Courses [Moodle])

Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range Per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours

The instructor will deliver the course online. Instructors are expected to have one office hour per week.

Course Modality Online Course Dates and Time Web-Delivered Duration (if Term/Temporary) January 1, 2026 - April 30, 2026. Sessional Lecturers may have preparatory work to do before the start date and sometimes may have to deal with grading tasks after the termination date.
