Job Description:

We are looking for passionate and experienced Digital Performance Marketer to join TD’s Canadian Marketing team, the Digital, Social and Content Marketing (DSCM) team is responsible for leading our digital marketing transformation. The team carries the mandate to build the digital marketing ecosystem to enable personalized 1:1 communication at all interactions with our customers. Leveraging a best-in-class content strategy, our personalized communications will ensure TD is delivering breakthrough creative and the best, personalized, and connected experience for our customers. The second goal of the group is to drive leadership in all digital marketing channels across paid, owned and earned. This means that we will strive to enable best practices in each channel, define the leading practices and beat competitive benchmarks. The primary goal of the group is to optimize the customer journey from start to finish, ultimately improving performance and driving ROI in each marketing channel for our business and channel partners.

Objective

Reporting to the Senior Group Manager for the Everyday Banking LOBs, the Manager, Digital Performance Marketing - Paid Media, will be responsible for driving digital marketing ROI for TD Canadian Personal Business, however these businesses may be subject to change. Accountable for in housed and agency led paid media budgets, the managers objective is to collaborate with internal stakeholders, creative agencies, and agencies of record to lead the development of paid digital media plans gaining a competitive advantage, optimizing towards cost efficient conversions and business while delivering a positive ROI.

Job Description & Accountabilities

  • Work directly in or along side media agency on paid media platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, programmatic display, online video and Google ads/SA360, leveraging extensive paid digital marketing expertise and current best practices to manage the planning and execution of digital media strategy for Lead plan development of managed social channels.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, creative agencies, and marketing analytics to plan, execute on campaigns directly in media buying platforms. For managed service platforms, liaise with Agency of Record leading execution, management, and reporting.

  • Deliver campaign reporting using data visualization platforms such as Domo.

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of paid media campaigns where post-click conversion metrics (KPI's) are the objective.

  • Optimize the end-to-end campaign (including audience segments/targeting, creative, content, networks, placements, tactics, etc) regularly in real-time across the customer funnel.

  • Ensure compliance with TD process and governance control requirements.

  • Contribute paid media expertise to overarching marketing strategies and plans, including annual forecasts and planning.

  • Stay on top of digital industry trends and all applicable technologies, including developments in paid media and online consumer behavior.

  • Lead social and paid search content and engagement, both planned and agile, for assigned social media channels, working with Digital partners to optimize reach.

  • Have ownership of paid media budgets, optimizing dollars across tactics and channels to maximize ROI of each marketing dollar spent, using TD's digital marketing capabilities and other tactics to drive efficiencies.

  • Partner with marketing planning, digital channels, and the business to deliver on the aggressive sales and digital sales objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 4+ years of digital marketing experience across various paid media platforms including paid social on Meta and Paid Search on Google and Bing with a clear focus on leveraging data to drive business results.
  • Proven experience managing performance marketing campaigns through paid channels such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, programmatic and paid search etc. driving performance by driving digital acquisitions.
  • Proven Experience with digital acquisition campaigns in an always-on environment and demonstrating results with driving incremental business.
  • Understanding of Adobe Analytics, GA360 and Domo are an asset.
  • Experience managing agency and vendor relationships.
  • Practical experience developing scorecards, executive level reports and utilization of data for digital media optimization, including techniques for measuring end-to-end effectiveness across digital marketing touch points.
  • Experience utilizing digital marketing technology to drive personalized and targeted experiences across touch points in paid digital marketing channels.
  • Working knowledge and expertise in strategies utilized to optimize performance through multiple digital devices, desktop, mobile and tablet.
  • Able to follow process and work within an agile environment
  • Business acumen: strategic thinking, business process development, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills, with ability to obtain consensus among multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong teamwork orientation capabilities with an ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment, requiring ongoing re-evaluation of priorities.
  • Superior impact and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to manage social marketing strategies across your business.
  • Understanding of financial institutions product offerings would be an asset.

Education

  • University or Post-Secondary education required.
  • Business or Marketing Communications an asset.
