Job Description About MHI Canada Aerospace, Inc. MHI Canada Aerospace, Inc. (MHICA), a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, is a Tier 1 manufacturer of major aircraft structures and assemblies, based in Mississauga, Ontario. Over the past decade, MHICA has built more than aircraft components, it has built a recognized worldwide reputation for capacity, precision, on-time delivery, and excellence. MHICA has two state-of-the-art facilities combined to 476,000 sq. ft. This comprises of Manufacturing & Assembly, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain, where highly skilled employees are working on Bombardier's sector-leading Global 5000/6000 and Challenger 350 business aircraft. MHICA's technicians build and join wing assemblies and fuselage sections, as well as perform systems and flight control assembly installations and testing.

Scope of Position You will join the IT/ERP and BT team, and as the Technical BA, will play a central role in analyzing business processes, identifying automation opportunities, and designing solutions that drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Leveraging tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, Jira, Confluence, and SQL databases , the Technical BA will help streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and enable data-driven decision-making.

This position requires both strong analytical skills and hands-on technical ability, with responsibilities that span requirements gathering, solution design, low-level scripting, and ongoing system optimization. The Technical BA will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to ensure seamless delivery of process improvements.

The position requires the ability to allocate and manage automated resources effectively while adhering to the development standards set by the IT Department.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify, analyze, and prioritize processes for automation.
  • Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies, automation opportunities, and integrations gaps.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, and JIRA Workflows.
  • Develop familiarity with the ERP software and its SQL database to ensure effective process improvements and automations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation processes, including design specifications, workflows, and test plans.
  • Manage change effectively by communicating with business leaders and executives to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Monitor and maintain automated solutions, and optimizing performance as needed.
  • Assist development teams in mapping system integrations and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in process automation and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all development standards and security policies as set by the IT Department.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Experience in change management and working effectively with cross-functional teams, including company leaders and executives.
  • Solid analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) or other database management systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of design and analysis methodology, application development, and process improvement.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2-6 years of experience in process automation, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience in RPA development and coding using UiPath, Power Automate, JIRA Workflow or similar software are preferred.

Education

  • Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Certification in RPA tools are preferred.
  • Additional certifications in Power Automate, Jira is an asset
