About the role
This role is ideal for a creative video editor with a keen eye for visual storytelling and a strong understanding of personal branding. You will work with an artist specializing in oil painting to transform raw video footage into engaging Instagram Reels that authentically reflect the artist’s unique style and aesthetic. The project is a single assignment with the potential for future collaboration, offering flexibility to work remotely and creative freedom to shape the artist’s online presence.
Deliverables
- Edit and assemble raw video clips into a polished Instagram Reel that aligns with the artist’s brand and visual identity
- Incorporate creative transitions, effects, and music to enhance viewer engagement
- Ensure the final video is optimized for Instagram’s format and best practices
- Collaborate closely with the artist to understand their vision and provide creative input
- Deliver the completed reel within the agreed timeline
Requirements
- Proven experience editing short-form video content for social media, especially Instagram Reels
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative editing and branding skills
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- Ability to interpret and translate an artist’s brand and aesthetic into compelling video content
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Comfortable working remotely and managing deadlines independently
