What the job involves
- Ecopia is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help grow demand for our AI-generated mapping data
- This is a front-line sales role focused on outbound prospecting and pipeline generation. The BDR is responsible for identifying potential customers, initiating conversations, and booking qualified meetings for the sales team
- The role involves high-volume outreach through phone calls, email, and LinkedIn messaging to engage organizations that could benefit from Ecopia’s data
- Successful BDRs who consistently generate pipeline will have the opportunity to grow into Account Executive roles
- Execute outbound prospecting through phone calls, email, and LinkedIn
- Research and identify target accounts across Ecopia’s key customer sectors
- Identify relevant decision-makers and initiate conversations
- Book qualified meetings for Account Executives
- Clearly communicate Ecopia’s value proposition to prospective customers
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and activity in the CRM
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies
- Participate in sales training and coaching
