Job Summary

We are currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Accounts Receivable Supervisor.

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the resort’s accounts receivable operations to ensure accurate billing, timely collection of payments, and proper maintenance of financial records. This role supervises the accounts receivable team, manages internal and external vendor accounts, and ensures that all receivables are processed in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. This position plays an important role in maintaining cash flow and supporting period-end and year-end financial processes.

Essential Job Functions

  • Supervise and support the Accounts Receivable team, providing guidance, training, and oversight of daily tasks
  • Generate and distribute invoices to customers and internal departments.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure timely payment and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Apply payments received via cash, credit card, EFT, cheque, and online systems to the correct accounts
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger and investigate discrepancies
  • Work with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and revenue posting
  • Prepare and review aging reports and provide updates to management
  • Assist with period-end and year-end closing procedures related to receivables
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Respond to inquiries from corporate clients regarding billing or payments
  • Support audits and provide documentation when required
  • Oversee reconciliation of credit cards transactions, daily deposits, floats and petty cash balances
  • Maintain and update customer account information
  • Track product sales, ensuring they are accurately recorded in the system and that applicable taxes are correctly applied
  • Monitor and update currency conversions where required
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of revenue data between operational systems and accounting records

Required Qualifications and Abilities

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada – can provide SIN documentation
  • Diploma or certificate in accounting, bookkeeping, or business administration
  • Experience with accounting software and spreadsheets
  • Previous experience in finance, accounting, or office administration (often preferred)
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organization and time management
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Communication and customer service skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. RTP|ONE Client, Aspenware, Microsoft Excel, POS Systems)
