Classification: Management Band D, Excluded

Office Location: Victoria or Fort St John or Kelowna

Salary: $184,257 - $215,619 – Permanent Full-Time, based on a 35-hour work week.

An additional 3% Location Allowance will be added to posted salary for northern location.

About the Job:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President, People & Transformation (EVP), the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) is a strategic leader responsible for setting the digital vision and strategy for the BCER. The CDO leads digital transformation, innovation, and the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI and data analytics. This role champions user-centred design and responsible technology practices, working collaboratively with BCER Leadership to ensure seamless integration of strategic digital initiatives and operational delivery.

This position builds strong working relationships with staff and management to create an environment with a high level of collaboration and customer centricity. The role leads, develops, coaches, and mentors a diverse team of unionized staff and excluded management who are geographically dispersed.
