Position: Non-Medical Care Expert - Autism Support
Type: Part-time, project-based Compensation: $120–$160/hour Duration: 4–6 weeks Commitment: ~10 hours/week Role Responsibilities
- Create detailed content on managing key autism-related challenges, such as sensory issues, meltdowns, nutrition, and potty training.
- Develop guidance on childcare sourcing, sitter/nanny evaluation, and support systems for families.
- Document approaches to community rehabilitation and long-term housing planning for adults with autism.
- Provide expertise on parent support frameworks and family dynamics, including couples-support guidance.
- Ensure clarity and accuracy aligned with project standards.
Qualifications Must-Have
- 8+ years of experience as a social worker, parent coach, or autism-focused support leader.
- Proven experience advising families on common autism care challenges.
- Deep familiarity with daycare, childcare, and community service resources.
- Experience with housing and long-term planning for adults with special needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
