3PointZero is seeking a full-time permanent Full Stack Developer to join our fast-moving digital team in Calgary, Alberta and help build powerful open-source platforms and mobile applications that drive growth for our clients.

TECHNICAL COMPENTENCIES

• Strong knowledge of open-source technologies including PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiar with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) andMVC frameworks
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and web services
• Proficient in Gitversion control and collaborative repo workflow
• Experienced in Agile development (sprint planning, iterative releases)
• Experience developing for mobile using frameworks such as React and Flutter
• Working knowledge of the AWS suite(EC2, S3, etc.)

YOUR AREAS OF EXPERTISE

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in LAMP and/or REACT development

• Experience in working with open-source projects and communities

• Experience in building and maintaining large-scale business platforms as part of a team

• Ability to work independently and contribute in a team setting

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to clean code

• Solid communication and collaboration abilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance cloud-based applications using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)

• Build and optimize native iOS and Android apps using the REACT framework

• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to define, design, and deploy new features

• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability

• Resolve issues and improve functionality based on user feedback

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and practices

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in open-source applications
