The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Quality and Education Coordinator to join our team.
In this role, you'll help ensure our quality, education, and clinical resources are organized, accessible, and consistently presented across the ministry. Working closely with educators, practice leaders, and team members, you'll coordinate projects, maintain policies and learning materials, and provide administrative support that keeps key initiatives moving forward. You'll play an important role in supporting continuous improvement by helping implement new processes, educational programs, and quality initiatives while fostering collaboration across teams and external partners.
Your work will help create the strong foundation of quality, learning, and operational excellence that enables our teams to provide exceptional care and support, helping seniors experience life well.
What You’ll Do
Maintain and update policies, forms, educational materials, and clinical resources across online and written platforms. Support educators and practice leaders with online course design, formatting, and resource management. Coordinate quality assurance and quality improvement projects, including the implementation of new policies, processes, and education programs. Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, record and distribute meeting minutes, and provide administrative support to the Quality and Education team. Develop and maintain team resources such as reports, presentations, spreadsheets, directories, and communication materials. Coordinate travel, bookings, event logistics, expense reporting, and project support for the Vice President, Wellness and the Quality and Education team. Manage user access to designated SharePoint sites and PointClickCare accounts. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support ministry-wide initiatives and educational opportunities. Conduct research and contribute to ongoing improvements in processes, resources, and team operations
What You Bring
Education
High school diploma Completion of a recognized post-secondary Business Administration program or equivalent education or experience; education or training in web design is considered an asset Formal or informal training in the use of SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat Professional
Experience
A minimum of 3 years experience as an administrative assistant at a corporate level or an equivalent combination of training and experience History of serving in a clinical environment preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, etc

Compensation & Benefits
Our total compensation package includes:
Competitive salary with a hiring range of $58,000 - $62,000 Employer paid extended health and dental benefits Generous vacation entitlement, with four weeks’ vacation to start RRSP matching up to 7%
Work Location & Conditions
Kelowna, British Columbia Office-based role Occasional travel within British Columbia may be required Standard weekday hours with moderate additional hours expected during peak periods Criminal record check required
