Senior Lead, Enterprise Solutions Architecture

Position Highlights As the Senior Lead, Enterprise Solutions Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape
across Enterprise Solutions. You will lead the design and governance of solution architectures with a primary focus on SAP,
GIS, and Field Mobility, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, integrated, and aligned with strategic business objectives
and technology roadmaps. You will champion innovation by embedding AI-driven strategies, emerging technologies, and
continuous improvement into solution architectures to accelerate business transformation.
In this senior role, you will act as a trusted technology advisor, translating business strategies into actionable roadmaps,
overseeing delivery quality, and cultivating strong relationships across the organization.
What you'll do
- Lead the design, governance, and oversight of enterprise solution architectures across SAP, GIS, Field Mobility and
Enterprise Integration.
- Continuously scan and evaluate emerging technologies, including advancements in AI, and proactively recommend
adoption strategies, ensuring alignment with evolving industry trends and applying innovations where they can deliver
meaningful value.

Partner with senior leadership on technology strategy and architecture decisions.

Collaborate with product owners, application owners and/or system integrators to develop scalable, operationally efficient
solution designs.
- Serve as a key liaison between enterprise architecture, delivery teams, and business stakeholders. Participate in building
technology roadmaps.
- Translate technology roadmap into solution vision, define scope and sequence for investment justifications. Contribute to
build strong investment justifications and business cases.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture blueprints, roadmaps, concepts and guidelines. Ensure compliance with
security, privacy and other corporate policies.
- Support business outcomes such as improved resilience, efficiency, safety, and overall employee and/or customer
experience.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with business units, IT architects, project teams, and vendors to deliver integrated
solutions.

Mentor technical leaders and product owners, fostering innovation and technical excellence.

Monitor and report on architecture performance metrics (e.g., solution reuse, technical debt reduction, delivery velocity).
What you bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent (required).
-
10+ years of IT architecture or solution design experience in large enterprise environments, including at least 5 years in
architecture strategy and roadmap development.

5 years of leadership experience leading technical teams in large-scale technology environments.
-
Proven experience delivering innovative, complex, enterprise-scale solutions. Specific utility or regulated industry
experience is an asset.

Proven experience bringing innovation, including AI approach to architecture.

Expertise in enterprise integration patterns and tools (required).
-
Experience with cloud platforms, cybersecurity principles, and data architecture (required).
-
Experience with SAP S/4HANA on RISE, GIS, and Field Mobility (desired).
-
Experience with business process modeling tools such as Signavio (asset).
-
Professional architecture certifications (TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional)
preferred; security (e.g., CISSP) or agile (e.g., CSM) certifications (asset).
- Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies including generative AI is mandatory for this
role. Candidates must demonstrate substantial hands-on experience applying artificial intelligence, machine learning, and
data-driven innovation within enterprise solution architectures. This includes
designing or governing AI-enabled platforms, integrating AI capabilities into SAP, GIS, Field Mobility, or enterprise
integration workflows, and driving innovation roadmaps across complex environments.

an asset.
- Certifications and/or experience with GIS, SAP S/4HANA cross-module integration, and SAP SaaS solutions (minimum
one of the above is required).

Strong knowledge of enterprise data governance principles and analytics (required).

Ability to lead change in complex, regulated environments.

Understanding of utility-sector lifecycle processes such as asset maintenance, regulatory compliance, CRM, AMI, and
energy management (desired).
- Awareness of utility operations such as T&D, generation, engineering, grid modernization, construction management, and
OT solutions (asset).
