About the role
Warehouse Associate Location: Mississauga, ON Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in Mississauga. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping and receiving, material handling, quality inspections, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Process, package, and ship customer orders accurately and on time. Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming inventory. Pick materials from warehouse storage racks for customer orders. Verify, fill, and prepare customer invoices and shipping documentation. Examine incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and lift trucks (training provided if required). Assist with inventory counts, maintaining inventory accuracy, stock replenishment, and cycle counts. Inspect products for defects or damage and report discrepancies. Perform daily warehouse housekeeping duties, including sweeping floors, removing garbage and recycling, organizing workstations, and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment. Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures. Assist with light assembly, packaging, and other warehouse-related duties as required. Contribute ideas to improve warehouse efficiency and operational processes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse experience is considered an asset. Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, dock stockers, or other material handling equipment is an asset. Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems is an asset. Ability to use hand tools and basic warehouse equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Good organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy products and materials.
