What the job involves
- We are hiring a Principal Product Manager, Billing and Payments to lead the strategy, development, and optimization of Dandy’s billing platform
- In this role, you will own the systems that power how customers are billed, how payments are processed, and how we manage financial transactions across our products and services
- You will partner with engineering, finance, operations, sales and customer service to ensure our billing systems are accurate, compliant, scalable, and user-friendly—supporting both our customers’ needs and Dandy’s business growth
- This is a high-impact role where you’ll balance operational excellence and the customer experience
- Own the Billing Product Vision & Roadmap – Define and execute a multi-year strategy for Dandy’s billing platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance
- Deliver Seamless Customer Experiences – Build intuitive, transparent, and accurate billing and payment processes that earn customer trust and reduce friction
- Collaborate Across Functions – Partner with sales, accounting, legal, operations, and customer service to align on requirements, priorities, and delivery
- Ensure Global Accuracy & Compliance – Work with finance and legal to ensure systems meet tax, regulatory, and audit requirements across geographies
- Optimize for Growth – Support new pricing models, subscription plans, promotions, and expansion into new markets
- Modernize Our Infrastructure – Evaluate and implement integrations with payment processors, tax engines, and billing service providers
- Leverage Data to Improve Systems – Monitor billing metrics, identify trends, and proactively address issues to improve operational and customer outcomes
