Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Design Systems & CAD Specialist to join the Power Bus Way Team. This position reports to Mississauga, ON
Responsibilities
What Will You Do?
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain cross-section libraries and reusable CAD components
Create and manage templates and standardized model structures Support automation initiatives including CPQ integration Set up project baseline models using latest released standards Ensure CAD data is structured, controlled, and aligned with standards Collaborate with engineering teams on evolving design standards Other duties as assigned
Education
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent
Experience
3–5 years experience in CAD design or drafting or 1+ year cable bus specific design work Advanced CAD proficiency (Inventor preferred) Strong understanding of modeling best practices Knowledge of manufacturing processes Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities
