The Position

The Expeditor is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of orders from the kitchen to the servers. Checking each dish before delivery to ensure proper accuracy, presentation, and temperature.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure orders are prepared with the correct priority;
• Assist in the final presentation of dishes;
• Ensure orders are delivered correctly and in a timely manner;
• Ensure the expo line is set up and ready for service;
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment at all times;
• Memorize food menu items;
• Communicate important information between the kitchen and servers;
• All other duties as assigned.

The Individual

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

• Must be ProServe certified and be 18 years of age or older;

• Prior food and beverage/expeditor experience preferred;

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;

• Exemplary customer service skills;

• Strong attention to detail;

• Calm under pressure;
