WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Support in preparing budgets (operational and capital), forecasting metrics, and Key Performance Indicator reporting.
- Write SQL queries to retrieve relevant information for feeding into BI tools and preparing dashboards. Support in updating dashboards by validating and maintaining underlying data feeding into the dashboard.
- Develop models in Excel to monitor existing assets and identify potential revenue-generating and expense-saving opportunities. Analyze large amounts of financial and operational data using Python and/or Excel to reveal insights.
- Support with implementation of business analytics tools and ensure consistency in data. Collaborate with and support other departments with their dashboarding and analysis requests.
- Upload budgets to property management software and prepare ETL files.
- Execute ad hoc tasks related to gathering data and preparing reports for management.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual financial reports.
- Participate in annual financial planning processes.
- Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators and business metrics.
- Perform variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and standardization of reporting.
- Complete Ad hoc projects as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related role, with proven ability to contribute effectively.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel.
- Proficiency in SQL and Power BI (DAX, Data Modeling); Python for data analytics is a plus.
- Familiarity with Yardi Voyager is a strong plus.
- Experience with financial modeling and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
