Job Summary
The Order Picker is responsible for picking orders for customers and branches.
Essential Job Functions *
-
Pick customer order from stock locations utilizing an RF scanner.

Assembles orders at the expected order fill rate.

Completes orders with weight and number of cartons and drops skids by the shipping area.
-
Double checks materials for specified customers to minimize errors.
-
Conducts stock checks.
-
Fills in for other warehouse staff to reduce workload or meet the deadlines of the department.

Comply with company policies and procedures.

Support and follow internal health and safety programs and protocols.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education & Experience

Secondary diploma or equivalent experience.

0-3 years’ experience working in a distribution center or equivalent is an asset.
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Manager System (Manhattan) including being proficient with RF scanners and equipment is an asset.
- Communication skills – written, verbal and ability to read and understand internal documents.
Strong attention to detail.Reliable and dependable team player.Ability to lift 35 lbs. frequently up to 70 lbs. infrequently.
