Position Summary

The Shipping Clerk performs various tasks to support the various operational processes in this department.

Prepare the necessary documentation to ship merchandise

Check for missing parts from orders being prepared Compile worksheets using orders and instructions received from clients; Prepare packing slips; Perform data entry on a computer (e.g. time cards, bill of lading, etc.) Work in special projects of the Improvement Cards in the department; Support the shipping department with invoice processing; Perform data entry for various reports and documents; Monitor inventory turnover, manage Kanbans, prepare monthly inventory counts, and maintain stock accuracy in the warehouses (consumables); Oversee the receiving department, including preparing a monthly report on the number of receipts processed; Support the receiving team with inspection requests and quality-related issues; Support the bolt team with various administrative tasks and ensure effective communication with the team leader in place; Perform any similar tasks required by the Shipping Supervisor.

Qualifications

Hold a Professional Diploma (DEP) or a College Diploma (DEC) in Logistics, Procurement, or any other related field; Knowledge of SAP (an asset); Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); Good initiative, autonomous, sense of responsibility.
