We are looking for a skilled and motivated Information Technology Developer (C#/ .Net) to join our Data and Integrations team in Saskatoon! This is a hands-on, impact-driven role where you’ll support and evolve a suite of internal applications and integrations that are essential to business operations. This position is temporary and is expected to last approximately 14 months.

Headquartered in Saskatoon with three international offices, Canpotex is one of the world's largest suppliers of potash overseas. On behalf of our Shareholders, Mosaic and Nutrien, we market and deliver Saskatchewan potash, a valuable fertilizer nutrient, to millions of fields and farmers globally - ultimately helping the world grow more food.
The Opportunity:
- Maintaining, refactoring and modernizing existing C# web applications and integrations (from .NET Framework to .NET Core/.NET 8+)
- Enhancing and maintaining modernized business-critical applications to ensure long-term reliability and performance
- Retiring legacy applications that are no longer in use
- Acting as a technical escalation point for internal support teams when it comes to custom-built applications and integrations
- Supporting and improving systems hosted both on-premises and in Azure
Our Stack:
- Languages & Frameworks : C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core
- Front-End : Angular, Telerik UI libraries
- Databases: Microsoft SQL Server
- Infrastructure : On-prem Windows servers, Azure
You’ll Bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum three to five years’ experience in software/technical development. · C#/.NET development and support experience.
- A strong understanding of software design principles, refactoring and troubleshooting techniques.
- Solid experience working with web applications, APIs, application integrations, and data pipelines.
Talent Profile:
- Technology Proficiency and Agility : Expertise in C#, .NET Framework/Core, SQL Server, JavaScript Web Frameworks, Azure, and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies. Experience with Boomi, Azure Logic Apps, PowerAutomate or other integration platforms is an asset.
- Team Partnership : Works effectively with cross-departmental teams to plan, develop, maintain and support business systems, understanding and responding to organizational needs.
- Clear and Impactful Communication : Shares ideas clearly in both technical and user-friendly terms; acting as a technical subject matter expert, adapting the level of abstraction depending on the audience and situation.
- Process and System Improvement : Designs, maintains and continuously improves work processes, workflows, documentation, code quality, and system efficiency.
- Complex Problem Navigation : Expertly navigates and resolves complex issues across diverse platforms, technologies and interconnected systems.
- Flexibility and Responsiveness : Ability to quickly adjust to shifting priorities or emerging technologies. This can include moving fluidly between the fine details in technical tasks to broader business initiative discussions.
