Your Impact:

As the Long Range Maintenance Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of Planned Component Replacement (PCR) maintenance across the site. Your work will directly support equipment reliability, operational continuity, and long-range maintenance strategy by preparing accurate budgets, schedules, and fully resourced work packages.

As part of Our Team You Will:
  • Prepare and manage the annual PCR budget and long-term Gantt schedule, updating quarterly.
  • Develop PCR scopes, cost estimates, and work packages well in advance of execution.
  • Coordinate parts, materials, tooling, equipment, and labor to ensure all resources are in place.
  • Work closely with Maintenance, Operations, Reliability, and Supply Chain teams to align plans and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records, work orders, equipment histories, and reporting within the maintenance management system.
  • Support safe execution by identifying risks, permits, warranties, and compliance requirements.
Prerequisities for your success in this role:
  • Diploma, degree, or trades certification in Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or heavy industrial maintenance operations.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Heavy Duty Machinery
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning principles, cost estimation, and materials management.
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar CMMS, Microsoft Project, Excel, and other planning tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across cross-functional teams and external partners.
Your Work Environment:

You will work closely with site maintenance, operations, and reliability teams, collaborating daily with both internal and external partners. This role involves office-based planning activities, site walkdowns to validate scope, and coordination with suppliers, OEM reps, and contractors. The work environment is fast-paced, safety-focused, and highly collaborative.

The expected salary range for this role is CA$83,400- $120,000/yr with additional Short Term incentive, Benefits, Travel Allowance and other perks. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
