About the role

Overview The Account Executive plays a critical role in nurturing existing client relationships and growing new client relationships for Kyndryl Canada's Staffing practice. This person will work closely with our internal recruiting team and other practices within Kyndryl to identify new opportunities to place independent contractors on staff-augmentation engagements.

The successful candidate will be given an existing book of accounts to maintain, while also growing new client accounts. Territory focus will be on western Canada as well as some enterprise clients in Ontario.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in complex, matrixed organizations, who understands the dynamics of the staffing industry, and is comfortable orchestrating across technical, delivery, and business stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years of experience in sales or business development within the staffing industry
  • Proven ability and aptitude in operating within large matrixed organizations — experience at firms such as Big 4 (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC), global technology integrators (e.g., Accenture, Cognizant), or similar environments is a major asset
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets in enterprise accounts
  • Experience leading multi-stakeholder sales cycles (technical + business + procurement)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and executive‑level engagement skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate net-new revenue from existing accounts, and expand existing account footprint
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, including opportunity identification, qualification, proposal development, candidate presentation and deal closure.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Engage senior customer stakeholders (C-level, Directors, Technology Leadership, Procurement, and Talent Leaders) using an advisory-led sales approach
  • Maintain relationships with consultants and clients throughout the lifecycle of an engagement to ensure client and consultant satisfaction.
  • Build creative staffing solutions in collaboration with internal teams across practices
  • Navigate large, matrixed internal environments to bring the right expertise to client conversations
