Server - Part Time
A Grab & Go Server at the Hilton Mississauga Meadowvale provides a memorable experience for our guests by offering food and beverage services while maximizing sales and guest satisfaction. The “Grab & Go” is located in the hotel lobby and provides specialty beverages and food products for those on the run. In this role, you will report to the Food and Beverage Services Manager.
What will I be doing?
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Ensuring a sound knowledge of all menu items available from the Grab & Go.

Taking and inputting guest orders into the appropriate point of sale system.

Preparing drink items as requested by the guest – mainly including, but not limited to coffee, tea, hot chocolate and specialty coffees.

Warming food as requested by the guest – e.g. pre made breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

Serving items to guests providing appropriate condiments and accompaniments.

Ensuring payment is received for all items served to the guest.

Answering any guest enquiry wishing to have items from the Grab & Go delivered to their room.

Prepare and deliver such items to the guest room in the appropriate packaging.

Ensure all items in the Grab & Go are well-stocked at all times, ensuring that all products are still within their expiration date.

Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.

Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships. Maintaining cleanliness in the Grab & Go area.
What are we looking for?
To successfully fill this role you should be able to demonstrate the attitude, behaviours, skills and values that follow:
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Self-starter, reliable and have the ability to work independently.
- Good command of Written and Oral English
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Secondary School Education
- Certified Food Handler
- Previous Barista experience
