The successful candidate will have advanced computer literacy skills, and organizational skills. They must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task. Experience and Knowledge of the programs/courses in the School of Health Sciences is considered an asset. Reporting to the Dean, Health and Veterinary Sciences, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and professional support services for the Health Sciences programs in order to ensure effective department operation. What you will be doing: Prepare and input new course information; Ensure program integrity through the effective management of synopses/course outlines each academic year in compliance with Quality Assurance policies and procedures of Northern College; Coordinate and verify the input of student grades submitted by faculty to support the promotional meeting process and requesting certificates/diplomas when a student has completed a program or course of study; Facilitate the transfer credit process and preparing student amendment records in order to add or remove courses for the upcoming semester; Verify and input employee assignments, reviewing timesheets/attendance for part-time support staff and faculty and submitting documents to pay roll as per established deadlines; and Respond to inquiries and/or concerns of students, faculty, other college personnel, outside agencies with a sound knowledge of policies and procedures. What you will need to be considered: Minimum 2-year Diploma in Office Administration or related/relevant field; Minimum 3 years work experience working with office systems and software; and Must be able to work independently.
