Trillium Lakelands District School Board is currently accepting applications for its Elementary Occasional Teacher List from teachers with 2 of the 3 divisions (Primary/Junior/Intermediate).
Qualifications We are accepting applications from qualified teachers who are available for daily supply and / or long-term occasional assignments. Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis. The following qualifications are considered an asset, but not a requirement:
- French qualifications are considered an asset (not a requirement)
- Special Education qualifications are considered an asset (not a requirement)
- Math qualifications are considered an asset (not a requirement)
All Applicants Must Submit
- a cover letter
- a resume outlining teaching experience, if applicable
- a copy of their OCT Certificate
- the names and contact information of three teaching-related references
In order for an application to be considered, all applicants must submit a cover letter (quoting the posting number), a resume and a copy of their OCT Certificate . Your application package must be submitted in either .pdf or .docx format. We would like to thank all respondents, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Trillium Lakelands District School Board encompasses the City of Kawartha Lakes, the County of Haliburton, and the District Municipality of Muskoka.
Trillium Lakelands District School Board was formed in 1998 with the amalgamation of the Victoria County Board of Education, the Muskoka Board of Education, and the Haliburton County Board of Education. Today, the Board covers a geographically large and diverse region in the heart of Ontario's cottage country. The approximately 11,500-square-kilometre area offers a unique and unparalleled quality of life.
With approximately 18,000 students, Trillium Lakelands District School Board has 41 elementary schools, 7 secondary schools, and 6 adult education centres. The Board also offers a well-attended online learning program accessed world-wide through its Virtual Learning Centre.
Trillium Lakelands District School Board is dedicated to the success of each student. Programs are offered through three panels - elementary, secondary, and adult education.
