Position Overview: We are searching for an Intermediate- advanced AP professional who will execute all AP functions for the organization, which includes entities in Canada and the USA. The incumbent will work independently and will collaborate with members of the Finance team and Operations team as needed. This role involves completing a high-volume of work independently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Completing AP for multiple entities, based in Canada and the USA.
• Monthly credit card reconciliations.
• Preparation of monthly accrual entries.
• Completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Ensuring outstanding balances are updated with credit memos that are due.
• Paying employees by receiving and verifying expense reports using company-specific accounting software.
• Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Maintaining historical records of all invoices, reports, receipts, and cheques by saving documents properly on the network.
• Assisting other departments with equipment or product purchases, tracking assets and accounts for acquisition.
• Confirming subcontractor billed working hours, bonuses, and projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Post secondary education in a relevant field, such as business, accounting, or finance is required.
• 3+ years experience working in AP is required.
• Experience in a relevant industry, such as Drilling or Construction, is preferred.
• Knowledge of job costing is required.
