Position Summary
The Diagnostic Imaging Department is currently seeking a permanent Full-time Medical Radiation Technologist to join their team.
Effective Date: May 18, 2026

Department/Unit/Program Description
The Diagnostic Imaging Department (DI) offers a variety of services to inpatients and outpatients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Modalities offered include X-ray, CT, MRI, US, Mammography (including Ontario Breast Screening OBSP), Echocardiography and non-invasive IR procedures.
Orthopedic fracture clinics run multiple days per week, adding to the variety of patients seen. Patient complexity ranges based on individual patient needs.
Essential Qualifications
- Active member of College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- General x-ray, OR, portable work
- Current CPR certification, on hire
- High level of communication, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff, patients and the public
- PACS experience
- Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of the job, as per the current Physical Demands Analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Computer experience in a Windows environment
- Certified in Administration of Intravenous Contrast Agents
Hours of Work
Must be available for eight (8) hour shifts. The schedule for this position is primarily night shifts; however, some day and/or evening shifts may be required, including weekends. May require standby and call back duties. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement.
