How You Contribute To Our World Reporting to the geotechnical engineer – tailings pond, you will have the opportunity to participate in the operations, maintenance, and monitoring activities of the filtered tailings facility at Mine Raglan. Your main tasks will be:
- Coordinate the operations of the tailings facility with the various teams involved (operations, engineering, contractors, consultants).
- Conduct field inspections of the tailings deposition area and the infrastructures of the tailings facility.
- Perform geotechnical tests and some laboratory tests.
- Carry out data collection for instrumentation.
- Monitor the application of operational, environmental, and safety procedures.
- Produce computer-generated plans to support construction and planning for the tailings facility.
Profile Required
- Hold a college diploma in civil engineering combined with three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Have experience in civil construction or geotechnical earthworks.
- Demonstrate leadership, initiative, communication skills, and be self-reliant.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Working knowledge of English is required.
