  • Full-Time, Permanent Position
  • Shifts: 10.00am to 10.00pm 4 days on, 4 days off
  • Location: Holborn, Central London (occasional requirement to work from our 2nd London office, based in Perivale)

Position Summary In this role you will undertake day-to-day digital file receipt and delivery, metadata quality checks, storage management and long term cataloguing and archiving of digital content. You will also be responsible for the creation of CRU hard drives and USB’s, managing physical asset movements and booking couriers for intercompany and external shipments.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Uploading and downloading digital content via various methods which can include: Aspera P2P, Aspera Faspex, Signiant, Hard Drive, LTO’s.
  • Creating and managing storage directory structures for multiple projects; moving, copying and deleting project files.
  • Monitoring central storage disk usage utilising disk management software tools.
  • Capacity planning and management of production data storage.
  • De-archiving files to/from LTO tapes and various HDD formats.
  • Managing LTO library - locating LTO in the vault and loading the tapes into the tape robot.
  • Creation and shipment of CRU hard drives containing DCP content.
  • Using the order management system, pick, pack and label CRU hard drives and film prints as required for shipment.
  • Manage returned CRU hard drives & film prints and updating the inventory system.
  • Logging incoming and outgoing physical assets and updating the inventory system when instructed to move assets..
  • Booking couriers for outgoing physical assets.
  • Issue inventory and storage capacity reports.

Key Requirements The ideal candidate will have strong technical literacy, ideally related to film and digital media formats, as well as:

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Diligent attention to detail and attention to safety.
  • Needs to be physically fit (able to move boxes)
