Wage range: $27.70 to $34.87
Shift structure: Monday to Friday, 7.25 hours per day
Primary location: CASA Downtown
Secondary location(s): CASA West, CASA Centre, CASA House
Union: In-scope

About the Role: The Research Assistant works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to support research and evaluation initiatives at CASA Mental Health. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with data entry and management, supporting data collection and basic data analysis, collaborating with internal teams to support the implementation and monitoring of evaluation procedures, conducting literature reviews, and preparing reports and presentations.
The Research Assistant will:
- Support data management, quality and maintenance.
- Support the organization and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.
- Support the administration of data collection tools such as measures and surveys.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective implementation and monitoring of research and evaluation activities.
- Conduct literature searches, reviews and environmental scans.
- Prepare research study materials (e.g., recruitment materials, consent forms, surveys, interview guides).
- Assist with preparing reports, presentations, manuscripts and data visualizations for diverse audiences.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Experience in research and/or evaluation is an asset.
- Experience using post-secondary library management systems.
- Experience in research is an asset.
Conditions of Employment
- A satisfactory Criminal Records Check. This would be the financial responsibility of the successful candidate.
- This role offers a hybrid arrangement between work-from-home and CASA’s downtown office. Travel to other CASA sites is required.
