Appian Developer – Workflow Automation & Integrations
Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid (3 days at office)
Experience Required: 6–8 Years
Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Appian Senior Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Appian applications supporting digital transformation initiatives. This role focuses on building scalable, high-performing solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient workflow automation and system integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Appian applications, interfaces, and workflows
- Build and optimize business process models and case management solutions
- Develop integrations with enterprise systems such as APIs, databases, and OnBase
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and Appian solutions
- Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and reliability of applications
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and QA teams
- Support testing activities including unit testing and UAT
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and application defects
- Follow development standards, governance, and best practices Skills
