The Role Reporting to the Manager, Integrated Planning & Maintenance, the Turnaround Planner will be responsible for developing turnaround job plans, and budgets to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the company’s assets. This role will require regular monthly travel to our field in order to collaborate with our field execution team. How You Will Contribute
- Develops job plans for all turnaround responsibilities related to the Field Asset Maintenance and Asset Integrity Framework policies
- Accountable for developing and delivering one, three, and five year job plans for turnarounds and other major outages
- Responsible for building, tracking and monitoring the annual turnaround budget
- Coordinates major outages effectively through collaboration with internal stakeholders and other business opportunities
- Stewards corporate processes to FAMR, including taking an active role in identifying and contributing to related continuous improvement initiatives
- Completes vendor management competency assessments and work order validation for turnaround activities
- Collaborates with the Remote Operations Centre (ROC) and Field Execution Team to ensure turnaround plans are understood and effectively implemented
- Provides technical assistance and advice to the field execution team for turnaround and other major projects
What You Bring
- Minimum 8 years of experience directly related to the planning of turnarounds
- Post-secondary diploma within oil and gas discipline or trade; i.e. Pipefitting, Electrical, Mechanical and/or Instrumentation, is preferred
- Direct field operations experience is considered an asset
- Competent with financial budgeting and analysis
- Analyzes and prioritizes situations to identify and solve problems efficiently
- Shows respect for team members and values their input and views
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with Maximo is considered an asset
