Business College Instructor (Marketing Courses)
About the role
VanWest College invites applicants who are available and interested in teaching Marketing Courses within our career training business programs at the Vancouver campus. This position may be online or an in-person combination delivery. Our academic terms run every 8 weeks. Classes are delivered in 3 hour or 3.5-hour blocks (Monday-Friday) within the overall schedule of 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Each course requires 56 hours of in-class, Instructor-led delivery per term.
We are looking for an initial start date of March 16th, 2026 for a Period of 8 Weeks.
Courses Available: (These are not all available in the upcoming March term)
- Sales Management
- Essentials of Marketing
- Social Media Marketing
- Sales Strategies
Education, Experience & Required Skills:
- At least an undergraduate degree in business or a certification in relevant disciplines AND relevant industry experience of a minimum of two years OR
- Relevant industry experience of five-ten years.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal).
- Proficient organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and in a multi-cultural collaborative team setting.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Candidates who qualify as above and who have experience teaching culturally diverse young adult learners are strongly encouraged to apply.
Schedule Options:

- Block A: 3:00pm to 5:45 pm M,W,F, or
- Block B: M, W at 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm or
- Block C: 3:00pm to 5:45 pm T,TH,F, or
- Block D: T, Th at 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Compensation: Each course requires 56 hours of in-class, instructor-led delivery every 8 weeks of an academic term.
