Responsibilities
Content Creation Lead the creation of compelling content across all of our social platforms (Meta, Tik Tok, Pinterest, YouTube) — always with the goal of growing and engaging our community. Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content using phone or professional equipment. Be on-camera talent when needed and direct others to showcase authentic stories. Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and community members to co-create content that drives engagement and loyalty. Curate, adapt, and amplify user-generated content to celebrate and expand the community. Stay ahead of trends, pop culture, and beauty innovations to keep content fresh and relevant.
Content Strategy & Execution Align content production with marketing, product, and brand goals — always with a focus on measurable growth. Develop content calendars and schedule posts to maximize engagement and reach. Ensure content feels unique to each platform while strengthening our overall brand presence. Partner with marketing to ensure creative work drives real results, including community growth and engagement.
Measurement & Optimization Track performance and identify opportunities to optimize content strategy. Analyze audience behavior and engagement trends to inform future creative decisions. Use insights to elevate storytelling, quality, and community impact across all content.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience creating and editing high-quality photo and video content. Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, Illustrator, CapCut, or other editing tools. Portfolio or personal social channels demonstrating your content creation skills (please include with application). Passion for beauty, curly hair, and community-driven storytelling. Energetic, collaborative, and self-motivated with a proven track record of ownership and execution. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Growth-oriented mindset — always learning, testing, and iterating to improve results and impact.
