Position Summary
The student will take part in a number of tasks to assist the Advancement Department. Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Assist with the planning and implementation of events including Convocation, Alumni booths & various gatherings;
Support the Alumni Relations Manager with PERKS administration and alumni engagement campaigns;
Help create engaging content for alumni social media channels;
Assist with donor stewardship activities, including making personalized thank-you videos;
Keep our donor and alumni records up to date in Raisers Edge and Stewardship Management database and create reports on donors;
Research alumni stories and profiles for award nominations, news articles, and social media highlights;
Help manage office and event supplies and keep storage spaces organized;
Reach out to local businesses for PERKS partnership opportunities; and
Take on other fun and meaningful tasks as they arise.

Additional Requirements
Field(s) of Study
Must be a full-time post-secondary student at Confederation College in the 2025-2026 academic year (minimum – attending entire winter 2026 semester). Full-time is defined as having a minimum 60% course load, or 40% if you have a permanent disability.
Must be returning to Confederation College as a full-time post-secondary student in September 2026.
Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident protected person, or an international student who is legally eligible to work in Canada.
If domestic, must be approved for OSAP , or complete the needs score spreadsheet to demonstrate a financial need
