Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Production Planner will coordinate with Production Supervisors to organize the daily work of operational teams.
You will be responsible for developing detailed daily plans to optimize productivity while considering operational constraints (equipment availability, materials, workforce, etc.).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE
- Maintain optimal inventory levels for products manufactured within the department.
- Achieve and maintain a 95% service level (“line fill rate”)
- Analyze production messages, create work orders (WO) in JDE, and integrate them into the SIOL system
- Verify the availability of components required to execute the production plan
- Submit requests in SIOL to ensure timely delivery of components for production
- Monitor requirements related to new product launches to ensure proper supply
- Analyze purchasing needs and communicate relevant information to buyers
- Optimize inventory levels for assigned products by maximizing turnover while maintaining sufficient quantities to support distribution
- Prepare and present analyses as part of the monthly capacity review
- Develop and submit a firm packaging schedule for the upcoming week, along with a forecast for the following week
- Coordinate efforts between various departments (e.g., Quality, Procurement) and the Production team to ensure smooth and efficient execution of the production plan
WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE
- A Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management
- 1 year or more of experience in a similar role (industrial/manufacturing environment is a strong asset)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office suite, and ease with production/ERP systems (JD Edwards is a strong asset)
- Knowledge of LEAN principles and methodologies (Kanban, takt time, pull system, etc.)

- Dynamic, committed, and action-oriented, comfortable engaging with others and collaborating to find practical solutions
- Structured and well-organized, with strong priority management skills
- Flexible and able to quickly adapt to unexpected situations, with a proactive mindset
