As an Infrastructure Planning & Project Engineer within our Water & Wastewater Conveyance team in Vancouver, BC, you'll lead impactful planning and modelling projects that support sustainable growth and infrastructure investment decisions across British Columbia and Canada. This role offers the opportunity to combine technical excellence, project leadership, client engagement, and multidisciplinary collaboration while developing toward a future Team Lead position.

Your Impact

Lead municipal infrastructure planning, drainage, and servicing studies that help communities grow sustainably and responsibly. Deliver hydraulic and hydrologic modelling assignments that support data-driven decisions for water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve successful outcomes for clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions across planning, modelling, and detailed design projects. Provide technical leadership and senior review for infrastructure planning and hydraulic modelling initiatives. Build trusted client relationships and serve as a key advisor on complex municipal infrastructure challenges. Mentor and support developing professionals while contributing to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Support business growth through proposal development, client engagement, and the identification of new opportunities.

The Skills That Set You Apart

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Water Resources Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Minimum 10 years of experience in municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, infrastructure planning, or water resources engineering. Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia, or eligible for registration and actively working toward designation. Strong experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modelling tools such as InfoWorks ICM, PCSWMM, SewerGEMS/CAD, WaterGEMS/CAD, or InfoWater Pro, with advanced proficiency in at least one platform. Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent assignments while effectively managing budgets, schedules, and project risks. Demonstrated experience preparing technical reports, presentations, and client-facing deliverables that translate complex analysis into practical recommendations. Strong collaboration and communication skills with experience working across multidisciplinary engineering environments. Passion for mentoring team members and contributing to leadership, resource planning, and team development initiatives.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 – $118,900

MB & ON: $81,900 – $112,800

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $81,100 – $107,700
