Coordinator – Supports for Immigrant and Refugee Mental Health and Addictions Issues (SIRMHA)
Full Time Position, 37.5 hours per week
Limited Term until December 2026 (Maternity Leave Coverage)

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Coordinator for SIRMHA is responsible for leading all activities under the Mental Health and Addictions stream of the Wellbeing and Resiliency Department. The goal of this program is to increase awareness of mental health and addictions among immigrant and refugee communities, reduce stigma, and build pathways to culturally responsive supports. Through individual counselling, community education and outreach, building partnerships and leadership development, the program enhances access to mental health services and strengthens the resilience and safety of immigrant families in Calgary.
