Position Title: Distribution Center Administrator
Location: Mississauga – Hurontario St & Derry Rd E
Compensation: $21/hr plus monthly productivity bonus

What we are looking for:
Currently, we are hiring for 1 Distribution Center Administrator that will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to the DC Management team, involving a combination of administrative duties and physical tasks. The position requires dedicated efforts in responding to phone and email inquiries, scheduling and processing orders, investigating errors, and other administrative responsibilities. Additionally, a significant portion of the role involves actively contributing to the DC team by participating in tasks related to picking, shipping, and receiving to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse activities.

Warehouse Operations and Maintenance
Receiving, Processing, and Record Keeping**:**

Update and maintain internal record-keeping systems with corrected information.
-
Coordinate required product from other locations and communicate any potential delays to requestors.
-
Conduct stock checks when required by stores/mobiles.
-
Answer phone calls, check emails, and provide courteous feedback accordingly.
-
Sort and slot all inbound mail and small parcels for delivery.
-
Ensure processing of all Special Requests & Online orders within 24 hours of receipt.
Order Fulfillment and Shipping**:**
-
Assemble merchandise, pack goods, and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.

Execute stock transfer requests initiated by retail & mobile stores as scheduled.

Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure expectations are met within required timelines
-
Assist the warehouse team with picking, shipping, and receiving on an as-needed basis.
Warehouse Operations and Maintenance:

Assist quality control in processing defects and returns.
-
Assist in regular cleaning, maintenance, and organization of the warehouse space.
-
Identify and communicate operational issues and support with implementing effective solutions.

Support the DC Manager and Lead Hands with any other duties as needed.

Undertake additional assignments as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Prior administrative experience in a warehouse environment is an asset.

Demonstrated proficiency in providing exceptional customer service.
-
Proven excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers.
-
Proven track record of strong attention to detail is required.
-
Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills required for meeting deadlines and optimizing workflow.
-
Proficient computer skills to efficiently handle tasks and navigate digital tools such as scanners.
-
Able to stand for extended periods, bend and move comfortably to perform job tasks. Capability to climb ladders safely to access elevated areas when required for job tasks.

Ability to repeatedly lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
