Position Details
As part of the marketing team, the Graphic Designer plays a critical role in advancing the University’s marketing and visual communications strategy. This position supports the creation of high-quality, brand-aligned materials including publications, advertisements, logos, and digital assets that are used by faculties and departments across campus.
Working in close collaboration with the Senior Graphic Designer and under the direction of the Manager of Digital Communication and Design, the Graphic Designer applies established design standards and best practices to ensure consistency, clarity, and brand alignment across all visual communications.
This position is covering a temporary absence and may be extended.
Position Qualifications
Candidates must hold a post-secondary credential in design or a related field, with a minimum of 1–3 years of relevant experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Design or related field with over three years of professional experience are preferred.
The successful candidate should have technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Additional familiarity with Canva, print production, basic HTML, CSS, Drupal, social media management and professional certifications such as Adobe Certified or UX Certified will strengthen a candidate’s application.
Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$4,772.00 - $5,403.00 monthly
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$4,772.00 - $6,034.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 11)
