About the role

The Opportunity

Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centrein Frederictonis looking forLicensed****Truck & Trailer Technician.

SIGNING BONUS: of up to $2,500 forLicensedTruck and Trailer Technicians.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm.

You will work with an experienced team of Technicians, doing diagnostics and repairs on MACK and/or VOLVO heavy-duty trucks. Providing excellent customer service is our top priority. We hope you will share that passion.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical components of heavy-duty trucks by testing the trucks systems and components
  • Drive the vehicle for testing purposes

Qualifications

  • Red seal Truck & Trailer Technician is required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
  • Be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Must be able to use power tools and common hand tools to perform work
  • Able to sit, stand, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time
  • Work individually and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude

Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Limited is the operating company for the Volvo/Mack line of heavy-duty trucks. Our success as a Volvo dealer in Moncton resulted in us being awarded the Mack franchise in 2002 and led to a successful expansion into the Fredericton market. Several of the leading transportation companies in Atlantic Canada are among our customers. We are a recognized leader within the Volvo/Mack dealer network and have received several acknowledgements and awards nationally.
