About the role
Bramgate Automotive is seeking a full-time Service Manager to take them to the next level with Service operations at their state-of-the art Airport and Mavis dealerships in Mississauga, Ontario . As Service Manager, you will oversee daily operations to ensure technicians’ time is fully utilized, customers receive exceptional service, and the department meets profitability goals. You will lead and support staff across service, parts, warranty, and customer-facing teams while driving customer retention and business growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver exceptional customer service, managing interactions, follow-ups, and complaints to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Oversee service amenities, loan vehicles, and marketing initiatives while maintaining a professional, efficient dealership environment.
- Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and manage service department staff, fostering a positive, ethical, and safe team environment while enforcing standards and monitoring performance.
- Oversee staff development, technical training, scheduling, payroll, and productivity to ensure fairness, efficiency, and compliance with Bramgate Automotive and Audi Canada requirements.
- Create and leverage collaborative partnerships.
- Lead by example, driving innovation, process improvements, and efficiency while managing multiple tasks, adapting to change, and ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee departmental operations including budgeting, reporting, warranty claims, staff performance, tools/equipment, and health and safety to maintain productivity, accuracy, and compliance.
- Establish knowledge base of auto industry competition.
- Keep up to date on dealership and industry-specific information.
- Understand and complie with federal, provincial, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal etc.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of leadership experience preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in an automotive service department is preferred.
- Efficient problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentational).
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Must stay up to date with new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and their functions.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
