What’s involved in this role:

The general worker is responsible for various activities related to warehousing, in an environment compliant with the food safety and where health & safety is of utmost importance.

  • Picking up milk cases and stacking them in the refrigerated warehouse
  • Cold Warehouse environment +4 degree Celsius
  • Working/standing/walking on cement warehouse floor for entire duration of shift

What you need to join our team:

  • Must be flexible and able to work various shifts - work days, afternoons, nights and weekends (Part Time entry status)
  • Possible work of 24-38hrs/week Physically fit (able to lift 50+ pounds loads, work standing up for long periods of time, etc.)
  • Be able to understand/speak/write English
  • Previous warehousing/picking experience preferred
  • Previous power equipment preferred (forklift/power jack) ​
  • High school diploma is an asset
  • Previous relevant experience in industrial or warehousing or production environment preferred
  • Experience in the food / dairy industry an asset
  • Safety and quality focused
  • Quick-thinking problem solver
  • Motivated to work as a team to meet goals
  • Good communication skills
