DZ DRIVER - MIDWEST TRUCK TRAILER & COLLISION SERVICES
Location: Mississauga
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented DZ Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of materials, equipment, or products while complying with all Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations, company policies, and health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class DZ commercial vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Complete daily pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical defects immediately.. Maintain accurate delivery records, inspection reports, and required transportation documentation. Follow assigned delivery routes while adapting to traffic and weather conditions. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and supervisors regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications Valid Ontario Class DZ Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract. Minimum 2 years of commercial DZ driving experience preferred. Ability to safely operate commercial trucks in urban and rural environments. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
