About The Role The team at Laivly is looking for an Event Marketing Manager to own the end-to-end corporate event strategy for the business. In this role, you will independently research, recommend, and execute Laivly’s presence at trade shows, conferences, and corporate events. You will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure events drive brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and strengthen customer relationships.

This role is best suited for a confident self-starter who thrives with autonomy, has a strategic mindset, and knows how to take a plan from idea to execution.

As Event Marketing Manager, you will…

  • Own end-to-end corporate event strategy, from planning and logistics to promotion and post-event ROI tracking
  • Lead execution of our presence at industry trade shows, conferences, and sponsored events
  • Develop outreach strategies for target attendee lists, including pre-event campaigns, outreach to prospects, and coordination with the sales and CSM teams for meetings with existing customers
  • Build and manage pre-, during-, and post-event campaigns in collaboration with demand generation and sales
  • Work with content and design teams to build promotional assets (emails, landing pages, decks, signage, etc.)
  • Manage event budgets, sponsorship packages, and lead handoff processes
  • Continuously test, learn, and optimize to improve ROI across all events
  • Track leads, engagement, and pipeline contribution through HubSpot and other reporting tools

Additional areas of responsibility may include…

  • Assist with demand generation in relation to campaign execution (list building, campaign QA, marketing operations setup in HubSpot).
  • Support lead routing, list segmentation, and nurture workflows to ensure leads captured at events continue to progress through the funnel.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor events, sponsorship activity, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Maintain an “event and partnership intelligence” tracker to inform broader GTM strategy.
  • Identify potential co-marketing or sponsorship opportunities outside of trade shows (e.g., webinars, partner-hosted roundtables).
  • Help manage Laivly’s partner marketing activities, such as co-branded campaigns, joint webinars, or partner spotlights.
  • Support with managing Laivly’s presence in industry associations, membership groups, and awards submissions.
  • Coordinate smaller-scale field marketing activities such as executive dinners, breakfast roundtables, or hosted meetups in priority cities.
  • Assist in executing internal company events.

As Event Marketing Manager , you have…

  • 3 - 5 + years of B2B event marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business administration (or equivalent experience)
  • A proven track record of owning event strategy from start to finish, with measurable ROI
  • Self starter who is confident to take ownership and drive momentum
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively lead and influence cross-functional team
  • Deep understanding of marketing funnels and how events drive demand
  • Willingness to travel for key events and trade shows (up to 20%)
  • Experience working closely with sales and demand generation teams
  • Comfortable managing vendors, timelines, and logistics with precision
  • Familiarity with tools like Hubspot
  • Experience in tech or CX space
  • Deep understanding of marketing funnels and how events drive demand generation
