About the role

Overview The Coordinator, Equipment and Supply Inventory under the direction of the Manager in the Emergency Department is responsible supplies management and cost analysis and reporting generating costing. Ensuring supply and equipment inventory of the Emergency Department. Independently generates and analyzes costing information related to the inventory and supplies management and provides cost analysis for changes in inventory usage. Facilitates the maintenance and development processes to track equipment and ensure equipment is ready available for daily operations. Organizes the day-to-day operational responsibilities that supports inventory management and promotes and preserves an environment, which facilitates efficient and effective materials management.

EDUCATION

  • Administrative diploma.
  • University degree in business related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years related experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a healthcare supply management environment.
  • Solid understanding of inventory and supplies management of the Emergency Department.
  • Previous SAP or equivalent finance and procurement management software required.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience and proven skills in report writing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to multi-task with proven organizational skills.
  • Experience working with an OR information scheduling system.
  • Proficiency in keyboarding skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ANSOS.
  • Good work and attendance record required.
