Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360) Developer - Contract
About the role
Job Title: Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360) Developer Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 Days/Week Onsite) Employment Type: 6–12 Months Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360) Developer to join our client's team in Toronto, ON. This is a contract opportunity for professionals with expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Data 360/CDP), data integration, identity resolution, and customer data platforms. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360). Configure and manage Data Streams, Data Lake Objects (DLOs), Data Model Objects (DMOs), and Identity Resolution. Build unified customer profiles and customer segmentation for marketing and business use cases. Develop and optimize Calculated Insights, Audiences, and activation workflows. Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and external enterprise systems. Develop data ingestion pipelines using APIs, connectors, and ETL processes. Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across the platform. Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize platform configuration. Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and deployment activities. Required Skills & Experience 9–12 years of Salesforce development experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360/CDP). Strong experience with: Data Streams Data Lake Objects (DLOs) Data Model Objects (DMOs) Identity Resolution Calculated Insights Segmentation & Activation Experience integrating Salesforce with external applications using REST APIs, MuleSoft, or other integration platforms. Strong understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Customer 360, and data modeling. Experience with SQL for data analysis and transformation. Knowledge of Salesforce security, sharing, and governance best practices. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud. Knowledge of MuleSoft, ETL tools, or cloud integration platforms. Experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments. Familiarity with customer analytics, personalization, and marketing automation. Salesforce Data Cloud certifications are highly preferred. Salesforce Platform Developer Certification is a plus. Nice to Have Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, or Telecommunications domains. Experience with AI-powered customer insights and personalization. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
